Ali Tod

Ali Tod is a Scottish singer-songwriter and guitarist who's music combines virtuosic acoustic guitar playing with powerful, raw vocals and emotionally direct songwriting. Now based in Appalachia, she has developed a distinctive sound that blends percussive guitar, live looping, and story-driven songs.

While her recordings showcase her distinctive musicianship, it is on stage where Ali truly shines. Her live performances are dynamic and immersive, transforming a single acoustic guitar into a full-band experience.

Ali has shared stages with Brandi Carlile on multiple occasions, recorded an EP at the private studio of Rodrigo y Gabriela, and recently performed with Gabriela at the San Francisco Film Festival. Her upcoming debut album, produced by Kaki King, marks a new chapter in her artistic journey, placing songwriting and connection at the center of her work while retaining the innovative guitar playing that has become her signature.

In 2026, Ali joins the MusiSHEans Guitar Tour, continuing her unique blend of virtuosity, authenticity and connection to audiences around the world.
